63rd National Film Award ceremony was held in New Delhi on 3rd May 2016. The ceremony added more glamour with Bollywood gems Amitabh Bachchan, Kangana Ranaut, Kabir Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and lots more. The award at the ceremony was presented by President Pranab Mukherji at Vigyan Bhavan.

Kangana (29-years old Actress), was looking fabulous in an off-shoulder gown from Beirut-based Lebanese designer Georges Chakra She collects her third National award as the best actress in Tanu Weds Manu Returns for her excellent role in the film. First, two were for the Best Supporting Actress for her performance in Fashion and Queen.
While Amitabh Bachchan won her fourth award of NFA for his best act in film Piku. He dressed up in a jet black suit. Sanjay Leela Bhansali got the best director award for his film Bajirao Mastani and also Remo D’Souza got the best choreographer award for Deewani Mastani song in Bajirao Mastani.

Salman Khan Movie Bajrangi Bhaijaan got the award for Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment. While “Baahubali – The Beginning” movie has won the best film award. Dum laga ke Haisha was declared the Best Hindi Film.
The versatile film actor and director Manoj Kumar was awarded the 47th Dadasaheb Phalke Award. The National Film Awards included a special award this year given to the state of Gujarat for most film friendly states in the country.
