Ayurvedic Home Remedies for Jaundice

Jaundice is a common liver disorder disease in which skin becomes yellow. Jaundice is commonly happen due to blockage of bile ducts, pancreatic cancer, hepatitis, anemia, liver disease due to alcoholism etc. Yellowing of skin, weakness, headache, loss of appetite, nausea, constipation are some symptoms of jaundice. Jaundice is not a serious disease as ayurvedic home remedies can easily cure it.

  • Tomatoes and Water:

  • You can use this as a medication for jaundice. Take 4-5 tomatoes and boil them in water for some time. Then crush the boiled tomatoes and extract juice from the tomatoes. Drink the juice every morning on empty stomach.

  • Almonds, Cardamoms, Sugar and Butter:

  • Medicine made from these things can be very helpful for jaundice. In order to make the mixture, first take around 5-6 almonds and add 3 cardamoms to it and then soak them in water for overnight. Next morning crush them in order to make paste and add 1 teaspoon to it with 1 teaspoon of butter. Eat the mixture everyday as it will help you in curing jaundice very quickly.

  • Turmeric Powder and Water:

  • A simple medication of jaundice is drinking turmeric powder with water. You only need to add 2 teaspoon of turmeric powder to 1 glass of water and drink the mixture. You can repeat the procedure for 3-4 times daily.

  • Other Liquids:

  • Liquids are the best medicine for jaundice so you need to take more and more liquid you can. You can take the following juice for the treatment of jaundice:

  • Sugarcane juice
  • Lemon juice
  • Carrot juice
  • Beetroot juice
  • Ginger juice
  • Other Remedies: In order to control the jaundice quickly you not only need to take medicines, you need to control your diet also. You should;

  • Avoid eating fried foods, spicy and oily foods
  • Eat banana everyday
  • Eat foods which contain rich iron and calcium.
  • Eat prune fruit
