A common problem for many females is vaginal discharge. It is a certain amount of discharge in whitish or yellowish color which is mostly happen during pregnancy or between menstrual cycle. In most of the cases it is regarded as normal but in some cases it can be serious problem for females. Main causes of vaginal discharge are hormonal changes, pregnancy, stress, use of antibiotics or birth control pills and bacterial infection. The symptoms of this problem includes, foul smell, itching around vagina, weakness, irritation, headache and pain in abdomen. If you care in time the vaginal discharge is not a serious problem and ayurveda can help it without any side effect to your body.

Apple Cider Vinegar:

It is very helpful for vaginal discharge as it contains acidic and antiseptic properties which can help in restore acidic quality in the body and reduce vaginal smell. You have to mix 2 cups of apple cider vinegar with ½ cup of water in a bowl and apply the liquid to your vagina. You need to use this method every day.


Amla is another best option for vaginal discharge. In order to take it you need to make paste by crushing some amla and add 1 teaspoon of honey to it. Have the mixture everyday for minimum one month and it will help you because amla contains anti infection properties vitamin C which strengthen our immune system.

Coriander Leaves:

You can use coriander leaves as a medicine. You need to put a handful of coriander leaves in a bowl of water and soak it for a night. Next morning filter the water and drink the water on empty stomach. It will give you immense relief to your problem.


As a very sensitive part of your body you need to take extra care for it. In order to keep it clean you need to wash it regularly and always try to keep it dry.
